Every day you expel 2.5 liters of water from your bodies in the form of urine, sweat, water vapor from the lungs, etc. This amount is even higher if you exercise.

Your body is made-up of approximately 75% water:

The lungs and heart consist of 70.9 percent water.
The muscles are 75 percent water
The liver is 75.3 percent water
Thee spleen is 77 percent. The brain is the organ with the highest fluid content, 83 percent.

The foods that have the highest water content are vegetables. Make sure that your diet consists of more than 50% high-water-content foods. Here is a list of he water content in some different foods:

Cucumbers – 95.6%
Salad greens – 94.4 %
Root vegetables – 88%
Potatoes are composed – 77.4 %
Melons – 92%
Apples / Pears 84 %
Dried fruits 20 – 24%
Nuts – 3-4%
Fish – 65 – 80%
Eggs – 74%
Meats – 55 – 70%
